...for SAP DM and SAP Legacy Data

SAP systems exist in almost all large companies. Most of these systems are used productively but there are also systems which only operate for the purpose of avoiding legal uncertainties or data migration.

A classic SAP scenario is the compression of a large number of SAP systems into a large infrastructure. Leaving old SAP servers at decentralized locations entails risks. In practice, later access is often connected with performance problems.

The archiving of SAP data is also only inadequately solved because the data are stored in a proprietary format (e.g. ADK), which at a later time can only be processed with greater expenditure.

With the Tributus ILM solution, data outside of the SAP systems are archived revision-proof in a standardized format and displayed by the Compliance Information Center (CIC) via an intuitive web client. The business logic of the SAP systems/applications is surpassed here (m:n links) while complying with the legal regulations. Document links from ArchiveLink, for example, to the respective data are realized by CIC.

The Tributus ILM solution relieves SAP systems on the one hand, whereby the performance is kept at a constant level, and on the other hand "old SAP systems" can be shut down, which in turn saves on licensing and maintenance expenses.

Scenarios from all previously supplied SAP releases can be presented. The expenditure for a Tributus SAP ILM project is surprisingly low as compared to the cost savings.

SAP DM

SAP DM

The usage of SAP Deposit Management (SAP DM) poses major problems for many banks, since particularly the high data volume and its further processing, which must be provided by certain deadlines, present a challenge not yet faced in the SAP banking industry. In addition to this, archiving of the accumulated data is currently not possible or only possible with difficulty.

The Compliance Information Center CIC also solves these problems in the SAP DM environment. The SAP system is relieved by the transfer of data from SAP DM on the one hand and data and documents are archived revision-proof on the other hand. Thus, the data are available at the "push of a button" for all research, financial inspections and audits, etc.

The typical approach of an SAP project:

  • Viewing and inspecting the relevant SAP systems
  • Export of the required compliance data (e.g. in accordance with GDPdU and DSAG)
  • Archiving the data (stored centrally and revision-proof)
  • Setting up the quantitatively and qualitatively adequate access and evaluation options for data and documents
  • Optional shut-down of the old systems ("Legacy systems")

CIC (Compliance Information Center)

After establishing the document linking, the CIC solution can enable access to SAP data and the linked documents of the SAP systems.

The user-friendly web interface of the compliance solution CIC ensures easy access to the SAP data and documents.
